Sule distributes tractors, vehicles, motorcycles to LG chairmen, security agencies

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state has distributed tractors to the 13 local government chairmen, assorted vehicles and motorcycles to government department, agencies and head of security operatives to ease their operation in the state.

At the event in Government House Wednesday, Governor Sule acknowledged the commitment and contributions made by the various bodies in the implementation of government policies and programmes in the state.

He explained that the seriousness of government Department and Agencies and security agencies has removed the bureaucratic bottleneck in the execution of project constraints and support to the services and policy direction of the state government as well as engendered social economic development of citizens

Governor Sule, further said the vehicles would also enhance the activities of security operatives and ensure protection of lives and properties of citizens which culminated to the relative peace enjoyed in the state currently.

On agriculture, the Governor, said “The quest to move from hoe and cutlass method of farming to mechanized agriculture, the government has provided additional 30 numbers of tractors for distribution to 13 local government chairmen to ease the farming system in the state.”

The Governor who later proceeded to the premises of the Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs for the launching of 2025 Armed Forces Remembrance Emblem donated the sum of N25 million to the state chapter of the Nigerian Legion where he changed them to use the money judiciously.
