Newcastle join Galatasaray in race to sign Osimhen

Chelsea and Man United are top Premier League clubs that have been linked with Victor Osimhen and now Newcastle United are the latest from England to express interest to sign the striker.

However, a top Napoli officials have met with the Galatasaray hierarchy over a permanent transfer for Victor Osimhen to the Turkish champions.

According to report, Napoli directors met with Galatasaray on the sidelines of the UEFA Europa League clash against Premier League club Spurs last week.

‘Gala’ won the game 3-2 to end Spurs unbeaten run in the competition with Osimhen grabbing a brace.

There are eport from England that Newcastle have been offered the opportunity to sign Osimhen from Napoli at the end of the season.

The report said the player’s representatives believe that Newcastle will be good step in the career of Osimhen after his loan spell at Galatasaray.

The price tag for the striker is now 75 Million Euros after the staggering valuation of 130 Million Euros was not met by any club in the summer.

Interest in the player has been fired up after a superlative start at Galatasaray, where he has now scored eight goals and made four assists in nine appearances.

‘Gala’ remain top of the Turkish Super Lig and are on course to qualifying for the knockout rounds of the UEFA Europa League..

Although a permanent transfer deal may be difficult for Galatasaray, there are other reports that suggest that Turkish side would be able to meet all the conditions stipulated by Napoli.

However, it was further reported that the striker does not have a future at Napoli as Osimhen, 25, is on a season-long loan at Galatasaray from Napoli.
