NDE to engage over 93,000 applicants in Nigeria

The National Directorates of Employment, NDE has begun the process to enroll about 93,731 youth in different jobs across the country.

Nasarawa state Coordinator of the programme, Mr.Joshua Fagbemi, who disclosed this to journalist in Lafia the state said the gesture is in line with President Ahmed Tinubu’s renewed hope employment initiative to equip the teaming youth on skills acquisition, training in vocational agriculture, entrepreneurial skills, transient jobs and activities in the public works sector.

He explained that the training would last for three months as the 10 days registration process has already commenced online and added that each ward across the local government areas in Nigeria would enroll 10 persons each and would last to November 4, 2024.

The state Coordinator maintained that successful candidates would start the training on the 5th day of November the same month and end on the last day of December 2024, promising to empower successful candidates financially to start their businesses.

The aim of the programme is to address the level of employment, hunger and criminalities in the land and called on interested persons to log on to www. NDE.Gov.NG.
