…Pays Courtesy Visit to Revenue Mobilisation and Fiscal Commission to Foster Economic Growth

In order to revolutionise Nigeria’s energy landscape, Obodofei Integrated Services Limited, OISL, has signed a Gas Sales and Purchase Agreement, GSPA, with Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Gas Marketing Limited, NNPCGML, a subsidiary of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited, NNPCL.

This partnership it stated, will enable OISL to develop a state-of-the-art gas processing plant in Bayelsa State, significantly enhancing Nigeria’s domestic gas supply and driving economic growth.
The agreement aligns with Federal Government’s Gas Revolution agenda, aimed at harnessing Nigeria’s vast Gas resources for national development.

Keynote areas of the collaboration were; Development of a gas processing plant in Bayelsa State, boosting regional economic growth, Increased domestic gas supply for power generation, industrialization, and manufacturing, Strengthened partnership between OISL and NNPCGML, fostering collaboration and expertise sharing and Creation of job opportunities and local content development in the oil and gas sector

Furthermore, it stated, “This milestone agreement demonstrates our unwavering commitment to Nigeria’s energy security and economic prosperity.
“We’re proud to collaborate with NNPCGML, leveraging our expertise to deliver a world-class gas processing plant that will transform Nigeria’s energy landscape.”

On Project details, the company noted that the gas processing plant, slated for completion within the next 12months will have a capacity of 25 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscf/d).
It went on to explain that Gas gathering and processing infrastructure, Pipeline connectivity to existing gas networks, Associated facilities for power generation and industrial applications, are mandates of the company.

Meanwhile, in another development, management of Obodofei Integrated Services Limited has also paid a courtesy visit to Honorable Muhammed Bello Shehu OFR ,chairman Revenue Mobilisation and Fiscal Commission in Abuja,

speaking at the visit, Obodofei Integrated Services Limited, OISL, its Managing Director, Hon. Ken Embele, noted that the company’s services include: transformative BAY-Gas LNG and CNG Hub Project is set to play a pivotal role in reshaping Nigeria’s energy landscape.

The MD explained that the project is a product of Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission’s energy sector seminars and aligns closely with their objectives.

He also highlighted key components of the project to include: A 100 mmscfd gas processing facility, 500,000,000 metric ton refilling plant, 200 Micro Distribution Centers.

Embele appreciated the recent signing of a Gas Sales and Purchase Agreement with NNPCL Gas Marketing Limited, NNPCGML.

“This agreement underscores our alignment with the Federal Government’s Gas Revolution agenda. Through this strategic partnership, we aim to: Establish a state-of-the-art gas processing plant in Bayelsa State, increase domestic gas supply to meet national demand, catalyse regional economic growth through industrialization.

Other areas he mentioned were the enhancement of power generation to boost manufacturing, strengthening the partnership between OISL and NNPCGMLand to foster job creation and promote local content development.

He then solicited for support in area of facilitating grant opportunities to ensure successful project implementation, as well as securing the recommendations to access necessary grants/ funding.

The Chairman in his response said they were pleased with the project and promised the Federal government will look into thier requests and come up with recommendations that will lead to the establishment of the project in no distance time stating that the project aligns with The Renewed Hope Agenda of the Federal government and will boost the economy of the country
