Deputy Minority Leader of the Senate, Senator Lere Oyewumi, has again restored the hope of the constituents by facilitating another landmark training on agribusinesses and opportunities in collaboration with Premio Technology Limited and Tripplehech Resource Limited.

Senator Oyewumi assured his constituents of his total commitment and passion to ensure that they are empowered to make them both financially and economically stable in order for them to achieve their full potential at appreciable levels.

Hon. Jide Jooda, who represented the Senator at the empowerment programme, emphasized the importance of agriculture as a cornerstone of sustainable development, noting that the agro-empowerment initiative aligns with Governor Ademola Adeleke’s blueprint of empowering the youth and promoting economic self-reliance within Osun State.

He charged the beneficiaries of the one-day training to utilize the knowledge acquired to improve their economic status, become self-reliant, and employers of labour to boost the overall Gross Domestic Product of the state.

While acknowledging the current hardship Nigerians are facing, he disclosed that training of such nature will avail the beneficiaries opportunities to improve their standard of living.

In their responses, the participants expressed gratitude for the opportunity, highlighting how the training has equipped them with practical skills and knowledge to thrive in modern agro-businesses.

Also, the training has exposed the participants to greater opportunities through which they can become economically independent to cope with the present challenges in the country.

They also appreciated the financial support provided by the empowerment, noting it as a critical stepping stone toward realizing their entrepreneurial aspirations.
